Das Statistische Bundesamt Deutschland (Destatis) hat die Statistik der Krankenhauskosten der 2.083 Krankenhäuser in Deutschland im Jahr 2008 veröffentlicht: dabei stiegen die Krankenhauskosten im Vergleich zu 2007 um 5% auf 72,6 Milliarden Euro.
